STEP 1
How to make soup with mushrooms, meat and potatoes? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. You can use any meat for the soup - pork, beef, chicken or turkey. I used dried porcini mushrooms, but they can be replaced with any other mushrooms - forest or frozen.
STEP 2
Pour boiling water over dried mushrooms and millet. Cover the mushrooms and leave to stand for several hours. After 2 minutes, rinse the millet several times in cold water.
STEP 3
Place the meat on the bones in a saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil and cook for 1.5-2 hours until soft. The article on saucepans, link at the end of the recipe, will help you choose the ideal soup pot. When boiling, foam will appear; it must be skimmed off. When the meat is cooked, separate it from the bones, cut into pieces and return to the strained broth.
STEP 4
Wash the mushrooms and then boil for 15-20 minutes.
STEP 5
Cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces and place in the pan with the meat. Leave to cook for 10 minutes.
STEP 6
Peel the onions and carrots, rinse them from dirt and chop them. Finely chop the onion and chop or grate the carrots. Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes over low heat. STEP 7
Then add boiled mushrooms to them. Stir and fry everything together for another 3-5 minutes.
STEP 8
Place the finished frying with mushrooms into the pan with the soup. Add salt and spices to taste. As spices, you can add dried basil or spices for mushroom dishes. Boil everything together for another 5-7 minutes.
STEP 9
At the end of cooking, you can add chopped herbs to the soup. Pour the finished soup into bowls and serve hot. Bon appetit!
