    You can take any meat, but pork is preferable, however, you can mix it with beef. So, cut the meat into cubes and fry in a thick-walled pan in vegetable oil until browned. Stir, turn the heat to medium. Then pour hot water so that it just covers the meat and simmer until done.

    Peel the potatoes, wash them, cut them into cubes and wash them again. Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Peel the carrots and grate them on a coarse grater.

Overall the dish is very tasty. You can also call it German stewed potatoes or German khashlama. In principle, the cooking technology is simple, but I made some changes due to the fact that my family doesn’t like just boiled carrots and onions - I first simmered them with meat. I don't think this affected the taste of the dish for the worse.
