Simple sponge cake in a slow cooker

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

For a simple sponge cake we need simple ingredients. Sift the flour.
STEP 2

We will deviate from the classics - we will not divide eggs into whites and yolks. Break the eggs into a deep bowl. You need to beat everything with a mixer; you won’t be able to use a hand whisk.
STEP 3

Beat the eggs lightly.
STEP 4

Then add sugar in a thin stream and continue whisking. You need to beat for a long time, maybe 8-10 minutes at high speed. The mass should become very dense and increase in volume by 5-6 times.
STEP 5

Do you see how the mass has increased?))
STEP 6

It is dense and homogeneous.
STEP 7

Add the sifted flour in small parts and mix with a spatula very carefully.
STEP 8

Movements should be from bottom to top.
STEP 9

We do everything very gently and carefully.
STEP 10

The dough turned out airy.
STEP 11

Grease the multicooker bowl with literally half a teaspoon of oil and pour out our dough.
STEP 12

We put the bowl in the multicooker, close it carefully (don’t make any noise) and select the “baking” or “oven” program, whatever you have. My default is 45 minutes, since the power of my multicooker is 900 W, this time is enough for me, if you have multicookers of lower power, increase the baking time to 1 hour.
STEP 13

When the multicooker “squeaks” that the program has ended, carefully open the lid and try our biscuit with a wooden skewer - pierce it) If the skewer is dry, it is ready, if you are not sure, bake for another 5 minutes.
STEP 14

My sponge cake baked in 45 minutes. Remove the bowl from the multicooker and let it stand for about 10 minutes. Then place the steamer basket on top and carefully but quickly turn it over.
STEP 15

Here's our handsome guy! We cool it down and sit down to drink tea)))
STEP 16

You can simply decorate the top with powdered sugar, or with berries or jam - whatever you like. If you want to make a cake, it is advisable to soak the sponge cake for 8 hours, first wrapping it in cling film - this way it will be elastic and will not crumble. Then cut the cakes and layer them with any cream.
STEP 17

We ate the biscuit simply with tea and fruit, very tasty) Cook for your health! Bon appetit!
