STEP 1
How to bake potato pancakes in the oven? First, prepare the necessary products. Choose tubers that are whole, strong, and without blemishes. The higher their quality, the tastier the potato pancakes will be. Wash the potatoes, dry and peel them.
STEP 2
Now grate the raw peeled potatoes on a coarse grater.
STEP 3
To prevent the potato pancakes from spreading on the baking sheet, you need to thoroughly squeeze out all the juice that the grated potatoes gave. I just do it with my hands. Then transfer the squeezed grated potatoes into a suitable bowl.
STEP 4
Add raw eggs, salt and pepper to taste to the grated potatoes. Mix everything well. The result should be a moderately dry and viscous mass.
STEP 5
Grease the prepared baking sheet with vegetable oil. Place potato pancakes on a baking sheet with a spoon and lightly press them down so that they are as thin as possible (then they will turn out juicy and crispy). Place the baking sheet in the oven preheated to 220 degrees for 20 minutes. Determine the time and temperature based on your oven.
