STEP 1
How to cook Siberian borscht with meatballs and tomato paste? Prepare the necessary products.
STEP 2
Pre-soak the beans in cold water overnight, drain and boil until tender.
STEP 3
Grate the beets on a coarse grater.
STEP 4
Simmer the beets in a frying pan greased with vegetable oil, vinegar and tomato paste until tender. Add a little water if necessary.
STEP 5
Peel and cut the potatoes, cover them with cold water and cook until soft.
STEP 6
Cut the onion into half rings, fry it in vegetable oil and set aside half for the meatballs.
STEP 7
Add carrots to the second half of the onion and fry until tender.
STEP 8
Scroll the meat and onions that were set aside through a meat grinder, add the egg, milk, and salt.
STEP 9
Form the minced meat into balls.
STEP 10
Chop the cabbage and add to the potatoes.
STEP 11
Add beets, carrots, onions and meatballs to potatoes. Cook the cabbage until half cooked.
STEP 12
Add beans, salt, sugar, spices, garlic, passed through a press. Cook for another 10 minutes.
STEP 13
