STEP 1

How to make a Scotch egg? Prepare your food. You can prepare the minced meat yourself or use ready-made ones. I prepared it in advance from chicken fillet. Wash and dry the greens. Wash the eggs.
STEP 2

Chop dill and green onions. Add the greens to the minced meat. Salt and pepper. If you use green onions, then add a little grated onion. Separate the white from the yolk of one egg. You will need the yolk a little later, add the white to the minced meat. Stir.
STEP 3

Boil the remaining two eggs for 9 minutes, then cover them with ice water. Leave for a couple of minutes, then drain the water. Peel the shells from the eggs; they will come off very easily due to temperature changes.
STEP 4

Divide the minced meat into 2 parts. Make a flat cake from one part and place an egg inside. Form a cutlet by covering the egg with minced meat on all sides.
STEP 5

Do the same with the second egg and the remaining minced meat. Place the cutlets in the refrigerator for half an hour.
STEP 6

Add mustard, salt and pepper to the reserved yolk. Whisk.
STEP 7

Dip each cutlet in the egg first.
STEP 8

Then in breadcrumbs. The most delicious egg will be in breadcrumbs, prepared at home yourself.
STEP 9

Sprinkle the baking dish with breadcrumbs and place the cutlets in it. Cook them in the oven at 180 degrees for half an hour. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven. The cutlets should be covered with a golden crust.
STEP 10

Serve the finished cutlets with any side dish or fresh vegetables. If you want to serve them as an appetizer, let the cutlets cool and cut in half. Bon appetit!
