Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make sausages in puff pastry in the oven? Prepare a list of products. It is better to let them be at room temperature (except milk). Sift the flour through a fine sieve in advance to saturate it with oxygen. Remove the butter from the refrigerator 1-2 hours before cooking.
STEP 2

Prepare the dough. Heat the milk on the stove, but do not boil it, it should be pleasantly warm. Add sugar to 100 ml of milk and stir. Add yeast and 50 g flour. Mix well. Leave in a warm place for 30-40 minutes. The dough should rise well during this time.
STEP 3

Pour the rest of the warm milk into the suitable dough, add salt and the remaining flour. Stir. Add 20 g soft butter. Knead soft elastic dough. Knead it well with your hands.
STEP 4

Roll the dough into a ball and cover with cling film. Place in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
STEP 5

Roll out the soft butter into a small rectangle. Use two sheets of parchment for this. Place butter on one, cover the second with a rolling pin. Place the workpiece in the refrigerator directly with the parchment.
STEP 6

Roll out the chilled yeast dough into a rectangle on the table. Place the cooled layer of butter on one side of the rectangle.
STEP 7

Fold the dough into an envelope: first, the side without oil, cover with a layer of dough with oil on top. You will get 3 layers. Roll out the dough carefully and quickly with a rolling pin.
STEP 8

Unfold the dough and fold it into an envelope again. You will get 9 layers. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour. Repeat the procedure of rolling, folding and cooling 2 more times. As a result, the number of layers in the dough should be 81.
STEP 9

You can skip the complicated preparation of homemade puff pastry, buy ready-made puff pastry from the store and make it from there. We will need 200 g of this or freshly prepared dough.
STEP 10

Lightly roll out the dough into an elongated rectangle on a floured board.
STEP 11

Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into long strips. The number of strips should be equal to the number of sausages.
STEP 12

Peel the sausages from the film and wrap each with one strip of dough.
STEP 13

Place the sausages in the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
STEP 14

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of sausage rolls. Be sure to turn on the oven to preheat.
STEP 15

Bake the sausages for about 20 minutes at 180°C. Select the exact time based on your oven individually.
