Sandwiches with sprat eggs and pickled cucumber

STEP 1

How to make sandwiches with sprats, eggs and pickled cucumber? Prepare your food. Take whatever bread you like. I have a whole grain baguette; both loaf and rye would work well. It is more convenient to use sliced bread. Choose high-quality, tasty sprats, the taste of the future dish depends on this. Wash and dry the dill (or other greens).
STEP 2

Hard-boil the eggs first. Cool and peel them. Grate the eggs on a coarse grater. Place them in a bowl. For added spiciness, you can add a little garlic to the eggs.
STEP 3

Add salt and pepper. Keep in mind that the eggs will be mixed with mayonnaise, which already contains salt; do not over-salt. Add mayonnaise. Mix the eggs and mayonnaise well.
STEP 4

Take pickles. Their number will depend on the size - more gherkins will be needed. Slice the cucumbers. Large ones into thin rings, small ones lengthwise into halves.
STEP 5

Spread the egg mixture onto the bread. You can first fry it a little in a dry frying pan.
STEP 6

Remove the sprats from the jar and place on a paper towel - it will absorb excess oil.
STEP 7

Place sprats on pieces of bread with spread. If the pieces are large and the fish are small, then put two pieces at a time. Place cucumber slices next to the sprats.
STEP 8

Garnish the sandwiches with dill sprigs. Serve to the table. Bon appetit!
