In a small bowl, mix honey and soy sauce with a fork until smooth.
STEP 3
Salt the salmon steaks and season with black pepper.
STEP 4
Bread steaks in flour. Shake off excess.
STEP 5
Brush salmon steaks with honey-soy sauce.
STEP 6
In a large nonstick skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. The heat should be moderate throughout the cooking process. If the pan gets hot, the glaze will burn. Fry the salmon steaks for 4 minutes on each side. The crust should be golden brown and caramelized.
STEP 7
Allow the fish to rest for a couple of minutes until it is fully cooked by the residual heat, and serve with a squeeze of lemon juice and finely chopped green onions. Bon appetit!
