I decided to make a salad with fried potato strips because of the unusual combination of ingredients in its composition. What surprised me most was the presence of ketchup in it. I didn't have any olives. The ham was replaced with smoked meat and raw smoked sausage. I don’t have a grater for Korean carrots, so I just grated the potatoes using a coarse grater. But it’s still better, if you don’t have a special grater, to just chop the potatoes very thinly. Once grated, it stuck together during frying and didn’t turn out very nice. To be honest, I didn’t like the salad at first. Everything seemed to be fine, and all the ingredients were combined to taste, but the ketchup spoiled the whole taste. I thought it would be better if there was mayonnaise instead of ketchup. However, the next day the thought occurred to me that if the salad was heated, it might be better. Indeed, it turned out tastier. In my opinion, ketchup goes better with warm foods. Salad for everyone. Of course, there is no arguing about tastes. I can only judge by my own taste: with ketchup, the salad is best served warm. Otherwise, I would replace ketchup with mayonnaise. I would like to note that, oddly enough, my daughter liked the salad, and she liked the combination of ketchup and ingredients. My husband also noted that it would be better with mayonnaise. My son refrained from trying it altogether. In any case, thanks for the interesting and unusual recipe.
