Salad with cherries and jamon according to Spanish motives

These are memories of Spain, bright, rich, memorable!!! I brought jamon from Madrid and, of course, couldn’t resist experimenting with this meat delicacy. Jamon is a dry-cured Spanish ham. Spanish delicacy and delicacy. National treasure and treasure of the country. Jamón is the basis of Iberian cuisine and means ham in Spanish. Pork ham is salted, dried and cured under strictly defined conditions, which ultimately leads to the creation of one of the best and most famous meat delicacies in the world. Ham contains virtually no cholesterol and is the most consumed meat product in the country.

Of course, in everyday cuisine everything is already familiar and convenient, but so bland))) And here everything - appearance, taste, smell, composition, new and attractively pleasant, you want to try this salad and enjoy European cuisine. Asparagus, I bought it mostly from Koreans, already pickled, but sometimes frozen, here, Anka, it must be fresh? I didn’t buy Ham at all, but the taste of dried ham is certainly familiar, but I haven’t tried cherries with such gastronomic products at all. Apparently I missed a lot, but what can I say, I can’t keep up with you young people, thank you for at least informing me))) And the salad is very good. Anka, I’m putting all your recipes in my book. Nice to meet!

Shur, just imagine, green asparagus in Russia grows quietly in many gardens, only the owners do not suspect that it is edible, but keep it as an ornamental plant. You know this decoration for bouquets: “fox tail” or “squirrel tail” - a kind of small-leaved Christmas tree with green berries. By autumn, the Christmas tree turns yellow and the berries turn orange. This very plant in early spring is green asparagus. If someone you know grows something like this in their dacha, you can ask them to try it. Only it needs to be cut while the sprouts are very young. White and purple asparagus are grown in special beds; they should never stick out, but green asparagus does not require these troubles; above-ground shoots are cut off.

Oh, Magician, I didn’t even know that this panicle is asparagus))) Our mother-in-law used to have one like this. It’s so simple, it’s necessary. You gave a very useful explanation! What else grows in our gardens)))) We didn’t observe its sprouts, we cut them already in the fall, when they cut bouquets for schools, but we could have tried))) But I wonder, who knows, The crocus sprouts are the very first to come out and are very fleshy and juicy - maybe they can be used for food too, Mag, what do you think?

Shura, under no circumstances should you experiment with crocuses!!!!!!!!Some of them are toxic. Several species, but you don’t know from what exactly the ones you grow are selected. Although, on the other hand, true saffron is the stamens of crocuses. Also one single specific variety, which, in my opinion, does not grow in Russia.
