When the water boils, dip the meat into it, wait until it boils and remove the foam using a strainer or a spoon with holes. Add salt and cook the meat over moderate heat for about 1 hour 20 minutes. Remove the finished meat from the pan and let cool.

    Peel the onion and cut into thin half rings. Transfer it to a small deep bowl and pour boiling water to the edges of the bowl, pour 9% vinegar (2 tablespoons) into it. Leave the onions to marinate for 30 minutes. During this time, the bitterness should leave it.

    How to make salad dressing? Pour refined vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat it a little over medium heat, add chopped garlic and fry for 1 minute while stirring. To fully prepare the salad, you need to give it time to soak - let it stand in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving. During this time, you can stir it several more times. I had a piece of boiled meat and wanted to make some kind of salad with it for a snack. On the site I found a recipe for a salad with beef and pickled onions. The recipe is very simple and easy to follow. My meat was already boiled with a bay leaf and onion for flavor. Chilled meat cuts better, so let it cool completely. Cut into thin strips. Sometimes the meat does not cut well, then it is better to separate it into fibers, as in the recipe. Luka took 4 small “turnips” and cut them into rings. I took the rings apart and poured boiling water over them, adding vinegar. But I marinated it for 10 minutes. For the dressing, I chopped the garlic finely and fried it in hot oil, the aroma was incredibly appetizing! Instead of tomato paste I used ketchup. I fried everything and added it to the meat and onions. I let the salad sit for half an hour in the refrigerator. I liked the result! The salad is very tasty, spicy, aromatic! I love it when there are a lot of onions. And it became softer after boiling water, but remained a little crunchy and not bitter at all. You can feel the sourness from the vinegar and tomato. This salad is good to eat with fresh black bread and wash down with something strong).
