STEP 1
How to make a salad of cucumbers and tomatoes with herbs? Very simple! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can use any tomatoes - regular or cherry. You can add or replace the vegetable part to your liking. You can also supplement the salad with croutons, onions and cheese. Any vegetable oil will do, preferably fragrant, unrefined. I have olive.

Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into slices. If you have cherry tomatoes, cut them into halves. Tomatoes need to be juicy but firm. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

Wash the cucumbers, dry them and cut them into circles or semicircles depending on the diameter. The skin, if it is not rough, damaged or bitter, does not need to be cut off.
STEP 4
Peel the garlic and finely chop it with a knife or pass it through a press.
STEP 5
Wash the cilantro and parsley, dry and finely chop. If you wish, you can replace or supplement with other herbs, for example, dill, mint, spinach, wild garlic, or use a mixture of different herbs.
STEP 6
Wash and dry the green onion feathers. Cut green onions into rings. You can cut along with the white lower part of the feather or only the green stems. If you don’t like the too pungent taste of onions, you can replace them with green cherry - they have a similar taste to onions, but softer.
STEP 7
Place tomatoes, cucumbers, chopped herbs and garlic in a bowl in layers. Lightly salt each layer. Leave the salad for 15 minutes without stirring so that the salt saturates the vegetables.
STEP 8
Then pepper the salad and mix gently. Season the salad with tomatoes, cucumbers and garlic with vegetable oil and mix again. Take any oil to your taste. You can serve the salad to the table. Bon appetit!
