Rassolnik with beans

Hearty soup for vegetarians and more! A very tasty vegetarian pickle, and thanks to the beans, it is very filling. I recommend this soup for fasting or for people who refuse meat, as it contains proteins, albeit vegetable ones. There is no onion in the recipe, not because I deny it, but because I simply didn’t have it on hand. Onions will not detract from the taste of the soup. And of course, a few words about cooking in a slow cooker: convenient, clean and not at all difficult.

Rassolnik is my husband’s favorite first dish, so I cook it quite often. But the other day I cooked it in a slow cooker for the first time using this recipe. It turned out very tasty! The only thing I also like is to add a little tomato juice to the pickle, it makes the taste more interesting. I've never grated cucumbers before and always cut them into cubes, but I have to agree that it's much better this way!

Thank you for your assessment of Rassolnik and I completely agree with you about tomatoes. Still, when combining tomatoes and beans, the taste is much more interesting

Tell me, I decided to make pickle soup. On one of the sites I found a recipe for a delicious pickle soup, it says that you need to stew the cucumbers before putting them in the pan. What does this give?? And does this change the taste of the pickle?
