Choose crab sticks with a whiter, brighter red top, then the appetizer will turn out just as bright and expressive. Processed cheese needs semi-solid “Druzhba” or “Yantar”, which can be grated. You can replace processed cheese with regular hard cheese. Large, selected eggs are needed.

    Grate the crab sticks on a fine grater. Set aside a third of the grated crab sticks to decorate the appetizer. To make the crab sticks easier to grate, first place them in the freezer for 20-30 minutes.

I prepared the Raffaello appetizer from crab sticks and cheese. Previously, this appetizer was practically a “mandatory element” of the holiday table, but in recent years it has somehow been forgotten about, completely undeservedly. Today I was happy to repeat this recipe. I added a little paprika to the part of the crushed crab sticks that was intended for rolling the balls, for brightness. I really liked the design of the finished dish by the author, but I didn’t have a pomegranate, so I decorated each “Rafaella” with salted peanuts. Great snack! Fast, tasty, beautiful!
