STEP 1

How to make a spectacular Raffaello appetizer from crab sticks and cheese? Very simple and quite fast. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Choose crab sticks with a whiter, brighter red top, then the appetizer will turn out just as bright and expressive. Processed cheese needs semi-solid “Druzhba” or “Yantar”, which can be grated. You can replace processed cheese with regular hard cheese. Large, selected eggs are needed.
STEP 2

Grate the crab sticks on a fine grater. Set aside a third of the grated crab sticks to decorate the appetizer. To make the crab sticks easier to grate, first place them in the freezer for 20-30 minutes.

Also place the processed cheese in the freezer for 20 minutes. Then grate on a fine grater.
STEP 4

Hard boil the eggs, cool and peel. Then grate on a fine grater.
STEP 5

In a bowl, combine grated crab sticks, cream cheese and eggs. Add the garlic clove passed through a press and mayonnaise.
STEP 6

Mix everything thoroughly until smooth. If you think the mixture is a bit dry, add a little more mayonnaise. The mass should be dense, not fall apart when forming balls and slightly sticky.

Using wet hands, form small dense balls the size of a walnut from the resulting mass.
STEP 8

Roll the resulting balls in the remaining crab stick shavings. The appetizer will immediately take on an elegant, bright look. If you prepare the appetizer in advance, cover it with a bowl to prevent it from getting too dry and put it in the refrigerator.
STEP 9

Transfer the crab sticks Raffaello to a serving dish and garnish with herbs. I added more pomegranate seeds. And you can serve. Bon appetit!
