  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

To prepare pancakes, prepare the necessary ingredients. All products should be at the same room temperature. Flour can be taken first grade or premium. Sift the flour through a sieve in advance to saturate it with oxygen. Take a large egg. If it's small, then take 2 jokes.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

To prepare the dough, take a deep bowl to make it easier to mix everything and avoid splashes. In a bowl, combine the egg and sugar. Mix lightly with a whisk. There is no need to beat them, just break the structure of the egg and mix it with sugar. If you like your pancakes sweeter, you can add a little more sugar.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Then pour kefir into the eggs and add a pinch of salt.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Gradually add sifted flour and soda into the dough and knead the dough. To speed up the process, you can use a mixer. Just mix the flour with the dough first so that when you turn on the mixer, the flour does not scatter to the sides. The dough should become homogeneous, without lumps of flour, and quite thick, like thick sour cream. If the dough is liquid, then the pancakes will be thin. And to get fluffy pancakes, the dough must be thick.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

To bake pancakes, you can use a pancake pan or any other pan you have. Heat the frying pan until hot and pour in a little vegetable oil. Spoon some batter into the hot pan.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Cook the pancakes over low heat on both sides. Why on low heat? This is necessary so that the pancakes are well baked on the inside and not burnt on the outside.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Remove the finished pancakes to a paper towel to remove excess oil.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Serve the finished pancakes with jam, preserves, sour cream or condensed milk. They can be served with tea or coffee, with milk or compote. When serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Very tasty! Enjoy your meal!

This is the second time I've made these pancakes. The first ones were lush, like in the author’s picture. Great recipe! But I’m a fickle girl, this time I wanted thinner and more tender pancakes. That's why I used a little less flour. In addition to kefir, I added the remaining sour cream to the dough. In the end it turned out tender, tasty... mmmmm. Now I will do both this and that. I recommend the recipe!
