I made pumpkin baked with meat in the oven for dinner. The pumpkin I had was the Butternut variety. Instead of red onions, I used regular onions. Replaced fresh thyme with dried. I fried the pork in a cast iron frying pan, and baked the meat and pumpkin in it, after covering it with foil. It took 35 minutes to bake. The result was a surprisingly tasty dish. The pork turned out soft and tender. The pumpkin taste is not noticeable at all. It just added a nice sweetness to the overall flavor of the dish. It turned out to be a great dinner! Everything was eaten in one day, so the next day I prepared the same dish again, only I added zucchini. Maria, thank you very much for the wonderful recipe!

I prepared pumpkin according to your recipe. I didn't expect it to be so tasty. Even my husband liked it. I didn’t have any thyme at home, so I added purple basil, chambhala and turmeric. And lightly fried the onion along with the meat. It was a great dinner.
