Puff pastry rolls with cheese

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make puff pastry rolls with cheese? Prepare all the required ingredients. For puff pastry, you can use store-bought yeast or yeast-free dough, or you can make puff pastry yourself. How to do this, see the description below the steps.
STEP 2

Take the cheese and grate it on a coarse grater. You can take any cheese to your taste, the main thing is that it is fresh, of high quality, without vegetable fats and melts well, as this may have a bad effect on the appearance and taste of the finished dish. Place it in a deep, comfortable bowl.
STEP 3

Remove the olives from the jar, let them dry and finely chop them into half circles or slices. Add them to the cheese.
STEP 4

Rinse the dill under running water, dry and finely chop.
STEP 5

Add dill to a bowl with grated cheese and chopped olives.
STEP 6

Mix all ingredients well. It is convenient to do this with a spoon.
STEP 7

Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
STEP 8

Spread the entire surface of the dough evenly with cream cheese.
STEP 9

Sprinkle Italian herbs on top. You can use other spices and seasonings you like, or skip the spices altogether.
STEP 10

Place a mixture of grated cheese, olives and herbs on top and distribute the filling evenly throughout the dough.
STEP 11

Carefully roll the dough into a roll.
STEP 12

Cut the roll into thin slices with a sharp knife.
STEP 13

Place the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 15 minutes. It may take more time, depending on the features of your oven. The finished rolls should be slightly browned.
