The filling for such pies can be different. For example, puff pastries with ham and cheese will be delicious.

Stunningly delicious puff pastry pies with cabbage in the oven took pride of place on our table! As a filling, I chose cabbage with smoked sausage - this combination always causes an increased appetite for me) Stewed cabbage in combination with carrots, onions and sausage is something! These pies sold out instantly, I barely had time to take a photo! I think this is the best proof that the dish was a success... Thank you!

Puff pastry is like a lifesaver when you need to quickly prepare something for tea. This time I prepared puff pastry pies with cabbage in the oven, thanks to the idea of the site’s author. While the dough was defrosting, I prepared the filling. I chopped the cabbage, grated the carrots on a fine grater, and cut the onion into small cubes. I fried onions and carrots in a frying pan, then added cabbage and stirred. I salted it, peppered it, added tomato paste, a little water and simmered until done. Sprinkled the dough with flour, rolled it out and cut it into rectangles. Spread the filling onto the dough, roll it up and press the edges with a fork. I placed the puff pastries on a baking sheet, brushed them with beaten yolk and baked in the oven preheated to 200° for 30 minutes. Quick, simple and very tasty! Ideal for a family tea party!
