  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make prunes stuffed with walnuts? To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Prunes need large, pitted, preferably soft. First hard-boil the egg, cool and peel. Divide into white and yolk. For the appetizer you only need the yolk.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Rinse the prunes. If the prunes are dry, pour boiling water over them. and let sit for about 10 minutes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

After the time has passed, place the prunes in a colander and let the water drain completely. Then dry it with paper towels. Using a sharp knife, make slits on one side of each prune.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Any cheese is suitable for this dish - hard, semi-hard, soft, such as mozzarella. The main thing is that it is tasty, of high quality, without milk fat substitutes. I use two types of cheese in the recipe. Hard - for stringing on skewers and soft curd for filling.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Dry the walnuts in a dry frying pan, then chop into fine crumbs.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

In a bowl, combine soft cheese, walnuts, crumbled boiled yolk and garlic passed through a press.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Salt, pepper, season with mayonnaise and mix. If you wish, you can add the whole boiled egg to the filling

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Stuff the prepared prunes with a mixture of cheese, walnuts and garlic.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Cut the hard cheese into small rectangles about the size of prunes.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Remove the olives from the brine and dry thoroughly. Cut each olive into rings.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Form the appetizer: place an olive ring on top of the stuffed prunes, place the prunes on a block of cheese and pierce everything together with skewers. Place the appetizer on a platter and serve. Bon appetit!

An interesting recipe for prunes stuffed with walnuts as an appetizer for a holiday or buffet table. The taste is very decent. A great appetizer for a party, and goes well with weak drinks. It's a little tedious to stuff the prunes themselves, but it's worth it. By the way, if you don’t have time to do this, you can finely chop the prunes, mix with nuts, garlic and mayonnaise and stir to form a paste.

An amazingly delicious appetizer for any feast! It’s worth trying prunes stuffed with walnuts at least once to understand that you need to cook them for any reason or without. Tasty! I want to implement this idea in a sweet version by adding sour cream, honey or sugar and soft cheese to the walnuts....mmm!
