Potatoes with stewed meat in a cauldron on the stove
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make potatoes with stew in a cauldron on the stove? Prepare all products according to the list. You can take any stew: pork, beef or poultry. It is permissible to replace tomatoes with ketchup or tomato sauce.
STEP 2
Peel potatoes, carrots, onions and garlic. Rinse the vegetables and dry with a kitchen towel to remove any remaining moisture.
STEP 3
Cut the carrots into thin slices or grate them on a grater with large teeth. Chop the onion into thin half rings, quarter rings or cubes. Heat refined vegetable oil in a cauldron. Send the onions and carrots to fry. Stirring, cook over high heat until the onion is browned.
STEP 4
Rinse the tomatoes and chop into small cubes. If desired, remove the skins from the tomatoes first. To do this, place the tomatoes in boiling water, hold for one minute, drain the water and remove the peel. Place the tomatoes in the cauldron.
STEP 5
Mix everything well and simmer with the lid open for about 5-10 minutes.
STEP 6
At this time, cut the potatoes into medium-sized cubes. Potatoes can be cut into cubes or slices. Do it the way you like best.
STEP 7
Place the potatoes in the cauldron.
STEP 8
Mash the stew with a fork until you get small pieces. Send the stew to the potatoes. Salt everything to taste and add your favorite spices. Pour in half a glass of water and stir again. After boiling, reduce the flame to moderate. Cover the cauldron with a lid and simmer the dish until the potatoes are ready.
STEP 9
Rinse the greens and chop finely. For greens, I usually use parsley, dill and green young onions. Pass a clove of garlic through a press or chop it with a knife by hand. Add greens and garlic to the cauldron. Mix everything again, turn off the stove and leave the dish under a closed lid to brew for a while.
STEP 10
Serve sprinkled with ground pepper.
