STEP 1
In order to cook potatoes on the grill, you need to take boiled potatoes in their jackets. If you are taking potatoes on a picnic, you can boil them at home on the stove. If it is possible to boil potatoes over a fire in a pot, then take raw potatoes with you and boil them on the spot. It is important to take even tubers of the correct shape, clean and approximately equal in volume. Do not use highly overcooked varieties.
STEP 2
Potatoes that have been boiled until almost done must be peeled. We will bring it to full readiness over an open fire! If necessary, cut the peeled potatoes into halves and leave them small. Salt the potatoes, add ground black pepper and other spices to your taste. Add some vegetable oil. Use your hands or a spoon to gently mix so that each potato gets the oil, salt, and pepper.
STEP 3
Thread the potatoes very carefully onto skewers. Place over an even layer of medium-heat coals. Fry to your desired level of browning. And I can say from my experience that well-fried potatoes turn out to be drier.
STEP 4
Turn the potatoes periodically so that all sides are browned. Cooking potatoes on the grill does not take much time. In general, the amount of time will depend on the number of skewers available, and the frying process itself takes 10-15 minutes, depending on the heat of the coals.
STEP 5
Cooked potatoes on the grill are best served immediately after cooking. In the heat, in the heat, it is the most delicious, with a smoky aroma!
