STEP 1

How to make mashed potatoes and zucchini? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse them in running water to remove dirt. Take young zucchini with thin skin.
STEP 2

Wash the zucchini and trim the tails on both sides. In young zucchini, the seeds have not yet ripened, so it can be immediately cut into cubes. An adult zucchini will need to be peeled and cored.
STEP 3

STEP 4

Then add the chopped zucchini to the pot with the potatoes. Leave to cook for another 10 minutes. Add some salt. During this time, both the potatoes and zucchini will be cooked.
STEP 5

Drain the vegetables and add butter. It will immediately begin to melt. Mash the vegetables with a masher.
STEP 6

Pour warm milk into the pan and continue mashing with a masher.
STEP 7

The mass will become homogeneous. If you want to get puree without any lumps, you can use a blender. But this is not necessary. The side dish of potatoes and zucchini is ready! It goes great with any meat or fish dish. When serving, sprinkle with fresh herbs. Bon appetit!
