For dinner I made mashed potatoes and zucchini. Before, it never occurred to me to combine these vegetables, although I gave this puree to my small children as complementary foods). My potatoes and zucchini are young. Before peeling, I soaked the potatoes in water to remove the dirt, then peeled them. I didn’t remove the skin from the zucchini, but then I realized that I had to. The fact is that after pureeing, the green skin gave up its color. As a result, the puree turned out to have a slightly greenish tint). This is even interesting, but the children suspected something)). In general, this mixed puree turned out tasty and tender, with a creamy aftertaste; you can’t feel the zucchini at all. I served it as a side dish for fish cutlets.

For me, preparing the combined potato-zucchini puree was a discovery, and a pleasant one at that. The delicate taste of puree in combination with fish or meat cutlet, which could be tastier. My family loved this dish. Now I will cook only this way while the zucchini season is going on, namely young ones, with thin skin and no grains inside. Thanks to the author for the wonderful recipe. I didn’t add any other spices; salt was enough for me.

Since zucchini contains a lot of vitamins and minerals, I try to cook dishes with it more often. Today I made mashed potatoes and zucchini. The combination turns out to be very delicate.
