    How to make shish kebab from pork tenderloin on the grill? Prepare all the ingredients you will need for the recipe. Take fresh tenderloin, not frozen, only in this case you will get the most juicy and tender kebab.

    Rinse the meat and dry with a towel. Cut the pork into small pieces of equal size. Place in a deep bowl suitable for marinating.

    Sprinkle the pieces with the prepared barbecue mixture. Mix everything.

    Peel the onion and cut into thick half rings. Crush the onion with your hands to release the juice and add it to the pork.

    Rinse the tomatoes and dry with paper towels. Slice the tomatoes into rings, not very thin. If you plan to put tomatoes together with meat on skewers, then choose elastic fruits so that the circles retain their shape in the future. Place in bowl with meat.

    Add vinegar as desired. Instead of vinegar, it is permissible to take 0.5-1 tbsp. mayonnaise. The vinegar and mayonnaise will soften the pork during the marinating process. Add a pinch of ground black pepper and mix everything carefully. Cover the bowl with the tenderloin with cling film and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. I usually marinate overnight and half of the next day.

    Place the marinated pieces on skewers. Alternate pieces of meat with tomatoes if desired. Salt the pieces of meat on all sides to taste.

    Light up the grill. When the coals burn out and are covered with white ash, proceed to the next stage of cooking. Place the skewers on the grill.

    Fry, turning occasionally, until fully cooked. Do not overcook the meat over the coals, otherwise it will become dry and tough. Pork tenderloin cooks quickly. To check the readiness of the kebab, make a cut on one of the pieces. If you see clear juice, it’s time to remove the skewers from the grill.

I really like these simple marinades for meat, with a minimum of ingredients. We marinated the tenderloin shashlik on the grill for only 3 hours. This time was enough for the meat to be very soft and tender.
