STEP 1
How to make pork kebab on skewers in the oven? Prepare all the necessary products according to the list. If necessary, defrost the meat. Transfer it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator in advance. Meat should not be left in a warm place or filled with cold water. This will reduce its taste. What cut of pork is best for barbecue? Take pork neck with fat layers. Then the kebab will turn out juicy and soft.
STEP 2
Wash the pork and dry it with paper towels. Cut across the grain into medium-sized pieces (about 4 cm wide). Place them in a deep bowl. Peel the onions, cut into quarters and then in half. Finely chop part of the onion. Add all the onions to the meat, add salt, pepper and knead everything with your hands to release the onion juice. Close the lid or cover the bowl with cling film and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours to marinate.
STEP 3
Soak long wooden skewers in water. This is necessary so that they do not burn in the oven during baking. Alternately thread pork slices and onion wedges onto wet skewers.
STEP 4
Place the skewers over the baking sheet so that the meat does not touch the bottom of the dish. As you can see, I also baked vegetables along with the meat, you can do the same. In advance (10-15 minutes before cooking), preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Please note that every oven bakes differently, so the time and temperature may need to be adjusted.
STEP 5
Place the baking sheet with kebabs in the oven and bake the dish until golden brown (about 30-40 minutes). It is important to turn the skewers periodically so that the meat is browned on all sides. How to check the readiness of kebab? Cut a piece of meat, if it is not red inside and clear juice flows out, then the dish is ready.
