Pork roll in foil baked in the oven

STEP 1

How to bake pork roll in foil in the oven? Prepare your ingredients. It is best to take pork from the ham or neck, in one piece, with a minimum amount of fat. Use dried herbs according to your taste. It can be Provençal herbs, dill, cilantro, for me it’s parsley and celery.
STEP 2

Wash the pork and dry it with a paper towel, and then use a sharp knife to open the meat into a wide layer. To do this, cut it in the middle, but not all the way. Then open the meat in both directions like an envelope. Do the same with all thick places - cut them and open them.
STEP 3

Beat the resulting layer. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
STEP 4

Place the chopped meat in a wide dish and pour soy sauce over it. During cooking, it will make the pork juicy and replace salt. It will also give the meat a spicy note.
STEP 5

Peel the garlic and grate it on a fine grater, add it to the dish with meat. Using your hands, rub the garlic and soy sauce over the pork.

Sprinkle the meat with dried herbs in an even layer.
STEP 7

And ground black pepper.
STEP 8

Roll the meat into a tight roll with the herbs and pepper inside. If you are afraid that the roll will open, tie it with twine or pin the edge with a toothpick.
STEP 9

Spread a large piece of food foil and grease it with vegetable oil. Place the roll on it, seam side down, and wrap it very tightly. Make sure there are no holes or tears in the foil. Because of this, meat juice will leak into the mold, and the meat will turn out dry.
STEP 10

Place the roll in the hot oven and bake it for 45 minutes. Then remove it from the oven and let it sit in foil for 10 minutes.
STEP 11

After this, remove the foil, cut the pork roll into portions and serve. It is delicious both hot and cold as a snack. This roll will decorate any holiday table.
