  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake pork roll in foil in the oven? Prepare your ingredients. It is best to take pork from the ham or neck, in one piece, with a minimum amount of fat. Use dried herbs according to your taste. It can be Provençal herbs, dill, cilantro, for me it’s parsley and celery.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the pork and dry it with a paper towel, and then use a sharp knife to open the meat into a wide layer. To do this, cut it in the middle, but not all the way. Then open the meat in both directions like an envelope. Do the same with all thick places - cut them and open them.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Beat the resulting layer. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the chopped meat in a wide dish and pour soy sauce over it. During cooking, it will make the pork juicy and replace salt. It will also give the meat a spicy note.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Peel the garlic and grate it on a fine grater, add it to the dish with meat. Using your hands, rub the garlic and soy sauce over the pork.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Sprinkle the meat with dried herbs in an even layer.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

    And ground black pepper.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Roll the meat into a tight roll with the herbs and pepper inside. If you are afraid that the roll will open, tie it with twine or pin the edge with a toothpick.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Spread a large piece of food foil and grease it with vegetable oil. Place the roll on it, seam side down, and wrap it very tightly. Make sure there are no holes or tears in the foil. Because of this, meat juice will leak into the mold, and the meat will turn out dry.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Place the roll in the hot oven and bake it for 45 minutes. Then remove it from the oven and let it sit in foil for 10 minutes.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

After this, remove the foil, cut the pork roll into portions and serve. It is delicious both hot and cold as a snack. This roll will decorate any holiday table.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

    Bon appetit!

I was looking for a roll recipe for the holiday table. I liked the recipe for pork roll in foil baked in the oven. A great thing, I tell you. The aroma and taste are incomparable! For this roll, I took a piece of ham on the bone. I cut out the bone, left it for the broth, and cut the flesh into strips and beat it with a hammer. I mixed the minced meat with soy sauce and spices; this time I took dried herbs and ground pepper, as well as dried garlic. I marinated the meat for two hours, then spread it on top of a baking bag, brushed it with a little melted cheese and sprinkled with herbs. I just thought dried herbs weren’t enough, so I added cheese. The taste of the roll only benefits from this. I rolled the meat into a roll using a baking bag, tied it on both sides, it seemed safer so that the meat juice would not leak out during baking, and wrapped it in foil. I baked it on a baking sheet in a hot oven over low heat for about two hours. I left the finished roll in the oven until it cooled completely and only then cut it into portions. This dish is great for sandwiches, for a holiday table or a snack, and goes well with fresh and canned vegetables. I recommend.
