Pork in the oven with potatoes and mushrooms
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to bake pork in the oven with potatoes and mushrooms? First, make the mushroom filling. Peel the onion and rinse in cold water. Then chop it finely. Heat the frying pan until hot, pour a little vegetable oil on it and fry the onion until transparent for 1-2 minutes over low heat.
STEP 2
Any mushrooms are suitable for this dish - wild mushrooms, champignons, oyster mushrooms. If you have forest ones, then pre-boil them for half an hour. Champignons and oyster mushrooms can be simply peeled and cut. Add mushrooms to the pan with the onions. Fry everything together for about 5 minutes so that all the moisture from the mushrooms evaporates. Then set the pan aside and cool slightly.
STEP 3
Next, start preparing the meat. For this recipe, it doesn’t matter which part of the carcass you choose, since it will still become soft during the cooking process. Cut the pork into small pieces.
STEP 4
Pour vegetable oil into a well-heated frying pan and fry the meat in it until golden brown. Fry it over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add a little salt to taste and sprinkle with spices.
STEP 5
Grease a baking dish with a little vegetable oil. Place the first layer of fried meat.
STEP 6
Peel the potatoes, rinse and cut into pieces. The pieces can be of any shape. I cut it into cubes; cutting it into thin circles will look good.
STEP 7
Place chopped potatoes on top of the meat. Spread it evenly over the entire surface.
STEP 8
Sprinkle the potatoes with spices and brush with mayonnaise. Try to spread the mayonnaise so that it gets on all the potato pieces.
STEP 9
Place fried mushrooms on potatoes. Place the pan in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 40 minutes.
STEP 10
At this time, grate the cheese on a medium grater. Take any cheese - hard, semi-hard, soft like mozzarella. The main thing is that it is of high quality, without milk fat substitutes, tasty and melts well.
STEP 11
Remove the dish from the oven, sprinkle with cheese and put back for another 15-20 minutes. During this time, the cheese will melt and will stretch appetizingly when placed on plates. Please note that the cheese is added at the end of cooking, this allows it not to bake into a crust, but to remain soft and stretchy. Serve hot. Bon appetit!
