I prepared pollock with rice for dinner. The author offers various options for the dish and methods of preparing it - the recipe is universal. I decided to cook it in the microwave. I salted the pollock fillet, added my favorite spices for fish, a tablespoon of vegetable oil and left it to marinate a little. Place the washed rice in a heat-resistant glass pan, add salt and add water in a ratio of 2:1 (1 part rice - 2 parts water). I cooked for about 20 minutes at full power (about 10 minutes from the start of cooking I checked the degree of readiness and whether there was enough liquid). Cut the onion into half rings, add salt and fry in a frying pan until semi-soft. I placed the fried onions on the rice, on the onions with pieces of pollock, and immediately grated the cheese on top. The rice was completely cooked, all the liquid had been absorbed, so I added a little more water so as not to dry out the rice (I used 100 ml), covered the pan with a lid and cooked in the microwave for another 15 minutes. I usually cook sea fish with rice, so I had no doubt that everyone would like it, but the unusual combination of fish with gently melted cheese was very pleasing. Thanks for the recipe, naniki!
