STEP 1
How to make pollock with rice? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. My rice is short grain. You can find out how to choose rice by reading the article on this topic at the end of the recipe. STEP 2
Boil the rice until half cooked.
STEP 3
Clean the pollock from the insides, rinse well under running water and cut the fillet from the carcass with a sharp knife.
STEP 4
Cut the fillet into portions.
STEP 5
Salt and pepper the pollock, grease well with sunflower oil and leave it like that while the rice cooks. Peel the onion, wash it, cut it in any convenient way (you can use rings, half rings, I cut it into cubes). Lightly fry it in a frying pan.
STEP 6
Salt the cooked rice until half cooked, add dry thyme and butter, stir. You can use any spices to suit your taste. Place half the rice in the bowl, then the fried onions and the rice again. You can first lay out all the rice and put onions on top - whatever you like.
STEP 7
Place marinated pieces of pollock on top of the rice and drizzle with more oil.
STEP 8
To make the fish more juicy, you can sprinkle it with grated cheese. Cover and cook for 10 minutes on the stove, 20 minutes in the oven, or 5 minutes in the microwave.
STEP 9
Our dish is ready! Serve the delicious pollock with rice hot, sprinkle with finely chopped dill if desired.
