STEP 1
How to bake pink salmon with onions and carrots in the oven? Prepare your food. You can take the fish either already cut into portions or whole and cut it yourself. I used skin-on sirloin pieces, but regular steaks will work. If pink salmon is frozen, then defrost it first.
STEP 2
Wash and peel the vegetables. Cut the onion into thin feathers.
STEP 3
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
STEP 4
Heat a frying pan over low heat, pour vegetable oil into it for frying. Place chopped onions and carrots in heated oil. Fry them, stirring, for 5-7 minutes until softened.
STEP 5
Remove the fried vegetables from the heat and cool slightly. Then add sour cream to them and mix. Salt the vegetable mass.
STEP 6
Wash the pink salmon pieces and dry well with paper towels. Take a suitable baking dish and place the fish skin side down in it. Salt and pepper the top of the fillet. You can also use any fish spices you like.
STEP 7
Place onions and carrots with sour cream on top of the pieces. Gently smooth out the vegetable coat. You can sprinkle grated cheese on top. Pour a little hot water into the mold.
STEP 8
Bake pink salmon with onions, carrots and sour cream in the oven, preheated to 180°C, for 25-35 minutes. The exact time will depend on your oven and the size of the fish pieces. Mine baked for 30 minutes. Cool the prepared pink salmon with onions and carrots with sour cream, slightly cool and serve.
