Pike in a Halloween pumpkin on fire
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Before starting to prepare the dish, we need to clean the pike (you can use other fish according to your taste)
STEP 2
Prepare the pumpkin by removing the seeds from inside.
STEP 3
To stuff the pike, cut the bell pepper, 3 tomatoes, 1 onion and apple into cubes.
STEP 4
Let's put our fish inside the tavern. Stuff with cooked vegetables and add salt and pepper to taste. Then cover with the cut part of the pumpkin.
STEP 5
Let's put our “work” into a melted oven with fire. And leave for 3 hours at intense heat and 7 hours with hot coals. This time may vary depending on the size of the pumpkin and fish. From time to time you need to look at the hole in the pumpkin.
STEP 6
After keeping the pumpkin in the oven for 10 hours, I got such a wonderful result. The taste is excellent. Imbued with the sweetness of a “dead” pumpkin. Bon appetit!!!
