Pies with liver, potatoes and onions

STEP 1
Prepare your ingredients. The author took puff pastry, you can take any of your favorite ones for pies - yeast or soda (baking powder).

Boil the liver. Boil the potatoes in their jackets, cool and peel them. Peel, wash and finely chop the onion.
STEP 3
Cut the lard into cubes.

Place lard in a hot frying pan.
STEP 5
Fry until cracklings form and there is a lot of fat.
STEP 6
Do not fry the cracklings to the point of charcoal; they should be juicy and tasty.
STEP 7
Place the cracklings on a plate.
STEP 8
Place the onion in the fat.

Fry over high heat until slightly golden and translucent.
STEP 10
Add cracklings.

Coarsely chop the liver and potatoes and pass through a meat grinder.

Cool slightly and you are ready to serve. These pies go well with soup, or on the road with sweet tea from a thermos.
