  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a pie with butter and sour cream in the oven with apples? Prepare the ingredients. Remove all foods stored in the refrigerator in advance so that they are at room temperature. If you don’t have time to wait for the natural softening of the butter, then you can burn it in a microwave oven or in a water bath so that it melts a little. Place the butter in a bowl; after heating, it should cool down and be at room temperature.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Beat in a chicken egg, add sour cream and sugar. If desired, the amount of sugar can be changed depending on taste, making it more or less sweet. Using a whisk or mixer, mix the ingredients until smooth.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Sift the wheat flour to saturate it with oxygen and make the baked goods more airy and fluffy. Mix wheat flour with baking powder. Pour the flour into the bowl with the liquid. You may need less or more flour, use the consistency of the dough as a guide. Read about flour and baking powder in separate articles at the end of the recipe.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Knead the dough with a whisk or mixer; it should have the consistency of thick sour cream. The dough must be mixed thoroughly so that all the lumps of flour disperse. Leave the dough on the counter to rest for 20 minutes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

It is better to take sweet and sour varieties of apples. Wash the apples, remove the skin, cut out the core with seeds. Cut into slices or small cubes, as you prefer.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a baking dish with butter. Pour the dough into the mold. How to choose a baking dish, read the article below the steps.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place the prepared apple pieces on the dough and press them into the dough. Place the pie in the oven for 30 minutes. You can check readiness with a wooden toothpick; it should come out dry. Remove the cake from the oven and pan. Let it cool slightly and serve with tea, coffee or cocoa. Enjoy your tea!

I whipped up a pie with apples and sour cream in the oven in the evening. Guests unexpectedly arrived and I had to urgently bake something for tea) This recipe was perfect for this purpose. The dough is kneaded in a matter of minutes and bakes quickly too. I also didn’t have time to soften the butter naturally, so I heated it in the microwave, a great idea. The dough turned out a little thicker than the author’s, but I didn’t dilute it, I like that consistency. For the filling I took an apple and a small banana. Peeled the apple, cut it into slices and stuck it into the dough edgewise. I did the same with banana. The pie was baked until dry. I would like to note that if fruit is added to the cake, there is a high probability that it will sink to the bottom. Therefore, in such cases, I place a circle of parchment on the bottom of the mold so that the cake can easily move away from the mold. And I lubricate the sides with oil. This pie turned out tall, juicy, soft. The dough is porous and airy. And the fruits give the cake extra juiciness and flavor. This is delicious!

I made this pie. Delicious! But I had to add more sour cream, otherwise the dough would turn out very thick. And I added more apples. I love it when there are a lot of them in a pie.
