  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to pickle green beans? Let's prepare the ingredients according to the list. There are different recipes for pickled green beans: with various spices, with celery, carrots and onions, in Korean and others. Our version with garlic is simple, but no less tasty.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the green beans thoroughly and let the water drain. We cut the asparagus pods into fragments that will fit comfortably in jars.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour water into a metal bowl and place it on the fire. Add a pinch of salt. When the water boils, lower the cooked beans into it and boil them for 5 minutes from the moment the water boils over medium heat. Drain the water and place the asparagus in a colander.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

In pre-washed and sterilized jars of the selected volume, we place the prepared spices on the bottom: bay leaf, peppercorns, allspice, you can add some other seasoning for flavor. For a piquant taste, you can add a couple of cloves of garlic. Place asparagus pods on top, it is better to place them vertically.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour cold clean water into a saucepan, add sugar and salt, bring to a boil, stirring with a spoon until the bulk water is completely dissolved. Boil for a couple of minutes, pour in table vinegar, let the mixture boil and turn off the heat.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour the prepared boiling marinade over the green beans in jars, up to the hangers of the dishes. Immediately roll up the jars with lids, let them cool at room temperature upside down under the “fur coat” and put them away for storage in a cool place.

    STEP 7

The preparation of green beans for the winter is ready. Bon appetit!
