Pickled cucumbers in jars with cloves

Cucumbers are crispy and not sour. Easy to prepare. Very tasty with fried potatoes!

    Wash the jars. Soak the cucumbers for a couple of hours. Wash the dill, peel the garlic.

    Place dill, garlic, pepper and cloves on the bottom of the jars. Place cucumbers tightly on top.

    Fill the jars with cold water.

    Pour water from the jar into a saucepan. Add salt, sugar, stir until dissolved. Boil. While boiling, add citric acid (carefully, foam may rise). Remove from heat.

    Pour the brine into a jar and cover with a lid. Steam sterilize for 5-7 minutes. I sterilize in a pressure cooker. The jar just goes in and the lid closes. If the jar is higher, you can cover it with a towel

    Roll up the jar, turn it over and cover it until it cools completely. Put it in the cellar. You can try again in a month.
