  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pickled crispy cucumbers without sterilization for the winter? Prepare your ingredients. The amount of spices is indicated per 1 liter of water. Start by soaking the cucumbers to ensure they are crispy and firm after pickling. Wash the cucumbers thoroughly, changing the water several times; you can even wipe them with a sponge to remove dirt.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Place the washed cucumbers in a deep container and fill with clean cold water. Leave for a couple of hours, during which time it is better to change the water. Then drain the water, rinse the cucumbers again, and cut off the ends on both sides.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

While the cucumbers are soaking, wash and sterilize the jars in a water bath, in the microwave or in the oven, in any convenient and proven way. Wash the lids and boil.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

For marinating, I use a set of herbs and seasonings indicated in the composition. But you can replace or supplement it. Wash the greens thoroughly and dry.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Fill sterile jars with herbs, add bay leaves, garlic cloves and peppercorns, place cucumbers tightly together. Boil water in a kettle and pour boiling water over the contents of the jars up to the hangers. Cover the jars with lids and leave for 10 minutes.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Then pour the water from the cans into a saucepan, add sugar and salt. Bring to a boil. Pour in 9% vinegar. Turn off the heat under the pan.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour hot marinade over the cucumbers in jars. Immediately roll up the lids on the jars. Turn the jars of cucumbers upside down, wrap them in a blanket and leave to cool completely at room temperature.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Store the workpiece in a cool place. On winter days, pickled cucumbers will perfectly complement a meal as an appetizer or become an excellent basis for many dishes: salads, hot dishes or soups. Bon appetit!

I’ve already twisted cucumbers according to my grandmother’s recipe, I want something new. I liked this recipe) It was interesting to try a new marinade. I found tiny cucumbers, and I immediately wanted to seal them in jars to serve them on the holiday table in winter. I always poured the essence up to the lid, but here you have to add it directly to the brine. It turned out to be much more convenient. I didn’t add bay leaf; I don’t really like its taste in preparations. The rest is according to the recipe. I rolled it into liter jars; of course, less time was spent on this than in three-liter jars, for example. I took out the jars from under the “fur coat” a day later, the brine was clear. I think the cucumbers will turn out great!

I have a question - sugar, salt, vinegar - what volume of the jar is it designed for?

My whole family loves to eat pickled cucumbers. Therefore, every year I definitely try to roll up more cucumbers for the winter. Despite the fact that I have my own proven recipe, I wanted to try one like the one on the site, namely a recipe for pickled crispy cucumbers without sterilization for the winter. Preparing cucumbers using this recipe is quite simple and quick. I haven’t changed the recipe, everything is as in the recipe. True, I didn’t add currant leaves, since I didn’t have any, and I didn’t add cloves; I prefer adding them to tomatoes. I can’t say yet how the cucumbers taste, but I tried the marinade. For my taste, everything is in moderation. This means that the cucumbers should turn out tasty. Thank you very much to the author for the detailed recipe.
