Pear juice from a juicer
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make pear juice for the winter from a juicer? Prepare your food. It is better to choose firm and juicy varieties of pears. Wash the fruit thoroughly and dry it with a towel.
STEP 2
Cut each pear into 4 parts, remove the core and tails. If there are damaged areas, cut them out.
STEP 3
Place the pear pieces in a juicer and squeeze out the juice. How you do this depends on the model of your assistant.
STEP 4
Squeeze the juice from all the pears in this way.
STEP 5
Strain all the juice through a strainer. This way you will rid it of excess pulp. To speed up the process, you can help the juice with a spoon. Or skip this step completely, then you will get juice with pulp.
STEP 6
From one kilogram of pears I got half a liter of concentrated juice without pulp.
STEP 7
Pour the resulting juice into a saucepan, add a little sugar to taste. Pear juice is very sweet on its own, you can do without it completely. Bring the juice to a boil over low heat and then boil it for about 10 minutes. All the time you need to monitor the foam so that it does not “run away” from the pan. Remove it with a spoon. Then pour the juice into sterilized jars, close with sterilized lids and leave to cool, wrapping the jars in a blanket.
