  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to cook pangasius fillet in a grill pan with fried vegetables? First of all, prepare the fish. Remove the pangasius from the freezer and leave at room temperature until completely thawed. To defrost the fillet faster, you can fill it with cool water. In a short period of time, change the water a couple of times, the defrosting process will speed up significantly.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Blot the thawed pangasius with paper napkins or a kitchen towel. The fish should be as dry as possible, since later we will fry it.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Cut the fillet in half or leave it whole, as you prefer.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Lightly salt each piece of fish on all sides and sprinkle with a small amount of your favorite spices (I used ground peppers and just a little dry basil).

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Using a silicone brush, grease the grill pan with vegetable oil, place it on the stove and heat it well. Fry the fish on both sides until an appetizing golden crust appears. I cooked on medium flame and it took me about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove the finished pieces from the frying pan.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Peel the onion and garlic, cut the pepper in half and remove the stem and seeds. Rinse vegetables and herbs under running water and dry with paper towels. Melt the butter in a grill pan and fry the onions, peppers, garlic and herbs. Choose the degree of frying for yourself; vegetables can only be lightly simmered in a frying pan or fried until golden brown.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place a small amount of fried vegetables on each piece of fish and sprinkle with a few drops of lemon juice if desired.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Serve while the dish is still hot!
