  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pancakes with meat or lazy pasties? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Start by preparing the dough. The milk and eggs must be at room temperature for the batter to turn out well. Therefore, remove them from the refrigerator in advance - 1-2 hours.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the eggs with soap. In a deep bowl, beat eggs with sugar and salt. There is no need to whip until foamy.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Then add milk and stir until smooth.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Sift the flour so that it is saturated with oxygen and the pancakes turn out airy. Make a well in the flour and pour the egg-milk liquid component of the dough into it. Mix with a whisk until smooth. Add the rest of the flour in small portions until the dough is as thick as heavy cream.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add vegetable oil, stir. Then pour in boiling water and immediately stir quickly. Leave the dough to rest for 15-20 minutes.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

While the dough is resting, make the filling. You can take any greens - parsley, cilantro, thyme, dill. I took dill.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Peel the onion, rinse and finely chop. Place the minced meat, herbs and onions in a deep bowl for easy mixing.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Add salt and pepper to taste and thoroughly knead the filling until smooth. If it is difficult to knead, add a little water and mix again.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Take a frying pan with a diameter of 22 cm - a pancake pan or one in which you are comfortable baking pancakes. Heat the pan until hot. Grease with vegetable oil. Turn the heat to medium, mine is 7 out of 10. Pour some batter onto it and, turning and tilting it, distribute it all over the bottom. And right away. While the dough is still liquid, place about a tablespoon of filling on one half.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Using a spatula, lift the free half of the pancake and cover with the filling. Carefully, so as not to tear the dough, press the edges so that they stick to each other.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Bake the pancakes on both sides until golden brown. Grease the pan with oil as needed if it starts to stick to the pan.

For breakfast I decided to bake pancakes with meat or lazy pasties. For the filling I used minced chicken, it is softer in consistency and cooks faster than beef or pork. Finely chopped the onion for minced meat and simmered it a little in a frying pan until soft. For greens I used dill and parsley. I made pancake dough according to the author's recipe. When baking lazy pasties, I turned them over twice to be sure that the minced meat had time to cook. The breakfast was hearty: delicious pancakes with juicy meat filling. They look like chebureks, but the taste is closer to pancakes with spice. Thanks to the author for the original recipe!

I re-read it several times. It's still scary to add raw filling. Will the filling really have time to bake without the pancake burning? The recipe looks very tempting to me. My husband should like it - it looks like a cheburek, but I liked that you don’t have to twist each pancake with the filling. And there are no other reviews(((Maybe someone has experience, dispel my doubts.
