Pancake chocolate cake
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make pancake chocolate cake? First of all, prepare the cream. It doesn't take long to cook, but it needs to cool before we coat the pancakes with it. Prepare your food. Take good quality chocolate; the taste of the cake will depend on its taste. I took bitter, you can take milk. Milk is suitable for any fat content.
STEP 2
How to make cream? Mix egg, flour, sugar in a thick-bottomed saucepan, add milk to them. Mix well with a whisk to obtain a homogeneous mass.
STEP 3
Place the ladle with the milk mixture on low heat and, stirring constantly with a whisk, bring it until it thickens. This will take two to three minutes. The main thing is to constantly stir so that the mixture does not burn or turn into an omelette.
STEP 4
Remove the cream from the heat and immediately add the chocolate, broken into small pieces. Stir. Chocolate in hot cream will melt very quickly.
STEP 5
Cover the cream with cling film directly end to end to prevent a crust from forming on top. Leave the cream to cool.
STEP 6
Next, bake chocolate pancakes. Prepare your food. Sift the flour first - this will not only remove possible debris, but also saturate it with oxygen, which will make the pancakes fluffier.
STEP 7
How to make pancakes? Mix milk and eggs in a deep bowl. It is not necessary to beat vigorously, just mix with a whisk until smooth. This will be easier if the milk and eggs are warm.
STEP 8
In another container, mix all the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, salt, sugar and baking powder. Mix them well.
STEP 9
Pour the liquid part into the dry part and stir. You need to achieve a uniform dough, without lumps. If the consistency seems thick, add more warm milk.
STEP 10
At the very end, pour vegetable oil into the dough. This will help future pancakes not stick to the pan.
STEP 11
Bake pancakes in a hot frying pan. Before the first pancake, grease it with oil; this will not be required in the future. Bake the pancakes on each side until golden brown.
STEP 12
Bake all the dough this way. I baked in a frying pan with a diameter of 22 cm, I got 12 pieces.
STEP 13
Meanwhile, the cream will have cooled down, the pancakes are ready, and you can start assembling the cake. Place the pancake one on top of the other, covering each with cream. One layer takes about two tablespoons of cream.
STEP 14
Assemble the cake completely. Coat the sides with cream, which will be squeezed out during assembly. Place the finished cake in the refrigerator for at least three hours so that it is thoroughly soaked, then serve. Bon appetit!
