    How to make paella with chicken and vegetables in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary products. Instead of one tomato, I used mini tomatoes. Chicken broth can be replaced with regular boiling water, it will turn out just as good. You can also add canned corn to paella with frozen green peas.

    Wash the chicken fillet and dry it with paper towels. Cut the meat into cubes approximately 2 by 2 cm in size. Peel and wash the vegetables. Remove the seeds and stem from the bell pepper. The garlic can be left in its peel. Cut carrots, onions, bell peppers and sausage into small cubes. If desired, you can first remove the peel from the tomato by pouring boiling water over the tomato. If you have a regular tomato, then also cut it into cubes.

    To prepare paella, it is better to use a frying pan with high edges. Heat the vegetable oil in it over high heat, add the chicken fillet pieces and fry, stirring continuously, for about five minutes.

    Add onions and carrots to the meat and fry everything together over high heat for another five minutes.

    Add bell peppers, smoked sausage and tomatoes to the pan. If desired, add hot pepper to taste at this stage. Fry for another five minutes.

    Add green peas, garlic, and turmeric to the pan with all the ingredients. Salt everything to taste, add your favorite spices, mix everything again and leave on the stove for two to three minutes.

    Rinse the rice several times in clean water, place it on top of the contents of the frying pan in an even layer, pour chicken broth over everything so that the liquid covers the rice by 1-1.5 centimeters. Cover the frying pan with a lid, reduce the heat to medium and leave to simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked.

    Sprinkle the finished dish with finely chopped parsley, remove the pan from the heat and let the paella steep for about 5 minutes.

I made paella with chicken for lunch. The chicken breast brought from the store turned out to be handy. I cut it into pieces, fried it, added onions and carrots, then tomato, garlic and sausage (I took beef sausage similar in taste to bacon). I did not add bell peppers and green peas. I placed the washed rice on the fried meat and vegetables, poured chicken broth over everything (at this time I was preparing the soup, I specially made more broth). I simmered until done, a little longer than in the recipe, until the excess liquid boiled away. The meat and vegetables were well cooked, the rice steamed, became crumbly, aromatic, and the sausage gave the paella, which turned out to be very filling, an interesting taste.
