STEP 1

How to bake a turkey with tomatoes and cheese in the oven? Prepare your ingredients. Any fillet is suitable - both from the breast and from the thigh. It is better if the meat is chilled; if frozen, defrost it according to all the rules so that it retains its juiciness.
STEP 2

Cut the fillet into portions. Try to cut the meat across the grain - this will make it softer. Lightly pound each piece with a meat mallet.
STEP 3

Place the meat in a bowl, add salt, spices and soy sauce. Mix well and leave to marinate for half an hour. When adding soy sauce to a dish, it is worth considering that it has a fairly salty taste. Reduce the total amount of salt, otherwise you risk oversalting.
STEP 4

Meanwhile, grate the cheese on a fine grater, combine it with sour cream and finely chopped dill. Choose greens according to your taste or availability.
STEP 5

Cut the tomatoes into slices.
STEP 6

Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it with oil. Place the prepared pieces on a baking sheet and place tomato slices on each piece.
STEP 7

Top the pieces evenly with the cheese mixture. Add a little liquid (water or broth) to the baking sheet. Bake the turkey in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
STEP 8
