  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make an omelette with ham and cheese in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. The quantity and proportions of ingredients depend entirely on your preferences. You can add more ham with tomatoes or more eggs with cheese.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the ham into small cubes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Heat the omelette pan until hot and pour a little vegetable oil on it. Add the chopped ham and fry for a minute over low heat.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

In a separate bowl, combine eggs with milk. Add some salt and spices. Whisk everything until smooth. When adding salt, keep in mind that the ham is already salted and will add its own flavor to the omelet.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add grated cheese to the egg mixture. You can use any cheese, as long as it melts well and is easy to grate. Mix cheese with eggs.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half and remove the stem. Dice the tomatoes and add to the pan with the ham. Fry the tomatoes and ham for a couple more minutes to soften them.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour the egg mixture over the ham and tomatoes and cover the pan with a lid. Cook the omelette over low heat for 5-7 minutes. During this time, all the ingredients will have time to bake. The main thing is that you don’t need to turn up the heat so much that the omelette doesn’t start to burn.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Remove the finished omelette from the heat and serve hot. When serving, sprinkle the omelette with chopped herbs. Bon appetit!

I made an omelette for breakfast today. I made one serving, but it was enough for two of us. Another quick breakfast option, I like it. The ham was replaced with boiled sausage. I liked the proportion of milk and eggs. The omelette turned out excellent, not watery, quite dense, but not rubbery either. I also stewed the sausage and tomatoes first, and then poured them with the milk-egg mixture and cheese. The omelette turned out great, very tender. Plus it's filling! I liked adding the filling; before I just mixed eggs and milk. It tastes better with the filling and looks much more appetizing. Now I will cook this way. I added a vegetable salad to the omelette. Thanks for the recipe!

It was a very tasty, quick and satisfying breakfast. I cooked for two out of 4 eggs, I couldn’t finish one quarter, I was full. I love simple recipes like this for breakfast, especially when you’re away for a long time and don’t know when you’ll be able to have lunch. Previously, I put cheese on an almost ready-made omelette, but here I have to add it to the eggs right away, I liked this option. With milk it turned out tender and airy. Of the spices, I added only a freshly ground mixture of peppers, and chopped dill on top of the already prepared omelette. It turned out fragrant. Thanks to the author for new ideas and a full hearty breakfast.
