  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry an omelet with green onions in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary products. Take large eggs, preferably homemade ones, or at least CO eggs. Choose regular milk, with a fat content of 2.5-3.2%. The butter should be natural, and only cream should be included in the composition. Oil fat content is at least 82%.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the eggs well, preferably even using a special brush, but be careful not to damage the shell. Beat the eggs into a fairly deep bowl. We will add other ingredients to the eggs and mix vigorously, so the dishes should have high sides.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Salt the eggs. At this point, you can add some of your favorite herbs or seasonings to the omelette mixture. Dry spices can be ground pepper, Provençal herbs or dried garlic. Chopped fresh herbs would also be quite appropriate: dill, cilantro, basil and green onions.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Beat everything with a fork or whisk.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Gently pour in the milk. It is believed that for 1 egg the amount of milk that fits in half the shell of this egg is taken. Stick to approximately these proportions.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Prepare the pan where you will cook the omelette. It would be great if it had a non-stick coating or cast iron like mine. Read about how to choose the perfect frying pan in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe. Place butter in a frying pan and melt it over low heat.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour the melted butter into the egg mixture, stirring constantly with a fork to ensure the eggs do not curdle.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Pour the egg mixture into the same pan. Place over low heat and cook until the omelette reaches the desired consistency. Chopped green onions can be added to the omelet at this stage (or mixed directly into the egg mixture). I like the onions not too cooked, so I add them later.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

If you see that the omelette is not cooked well in the middle, cover the pan with a lid and bring until fully cooked.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

I garnished the omelette with green onions. That is, I just sprinkled it on top. You can take any other fresh herbs or small pieces of tomato, olives, and so on.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Serve the omelet immediately hot. This is a great dish for a family breakfast. Bon appetit!

On Sundays my husband usually cooks breakfast. Since he only knows how to make scrambled eggs and omelettes, he cooks them. But this time he was busy and I had to cook breakfast) The whole family, out of habit, asked for an omelette) I was already tired of the usual one and I found this wonderful recipe. I made it from seven eggs, it’s very easy to calculate the proportions, you just need to enter the numbers in the required box. I liked that you don’t need to beat the omelette mass with a mixer, but use a simple fork. When whipped with a mixer, the resulting mass is too fluffy, which does not behave very well in a frying pan and breaks. Much better with a fork. And one more moment first brought me into a stupor, and then into delight) According to the recipe, you need to pour melted butter from the frying pan into the milk-egg mixture. I was afraid that the eggs would boil. But everything worked out, I quickly stirred both masses with a fork. I added a little vegetable oil to the empty pan to prevent the omelette from sticking. My daughter asked me to add some bread, she loves bread with eggs) I fried an omelette with green onions in a frying pan over the lowest heat under the lid. It turned out smooth, rosy, and came out of the frying pan well. Only I didn’t have any green onions, so I replaced them with dill, which also turned out fragrant and healthy. The omelette is simply magnificent, it is porous and fluffy. The taste is creamy and delicate. I think the whole trick is in hot butter and stirring with a fork) Great recipe, I recommend it!

I made an omelette with green onions in a frying pan according to this recipe for breakfast. Everything is very simple and fast. I used homemade eggs and beat them with a fork and salt. Added 2.5% fat milk and beat again with a fork. At the same time, melt the butter in a frying pan. Pour the melted butter into the egg-milk mixture in a thin stream, stirring constantly so that the eggs do not curdle. Then she poured the egg-milk-cream mixture into a frying pan where she melted the butter. Sprinkled with chopped green onions. Cooked for 5 minutes with the lid closed on low heat. Breakfast is ready. My omelette didn’t turn out very fluffy, since the diameter of the pan was wider than the author’s. It turned out to be a very tasty omelette with a creamy taste. Green onions are a great addition to an omelet. Breakfast is tender, light and beautiful. Good recipe! Many thanks to the author)
