Okroshka on white kvass with radish and mustard
My childhood favorite okroshka has sparkled with new flavors! The taste of okroshka is spicy with a slight bitterness, cold kvass with a pleasant sourness, and all together gives an unforgettable taste of a Russian summer dish that more than one person has not refused. I really like it and I want you to try this okroshka too.
I had never tried such kvass before, but fate brought me together with one grandmother, she treated me to okroshka on kvass made from rye flour and black radish with mustard, I will say that right away I didn’t understand what kind of basis this was for okroshka, but then When I found out the recipe, I was very surprised and wrote it down, I liked this okroshka so much, now this is the only way I cook it, thanks to that grandmother!

Good day everyone! Literally 3 days ago I prepared this wonderful dish. It turned out fabulously delicious. My son really loves okroshka of various preparations, so I made it according to a new recipe - it’s just finger-licking good. I learned the recipe from a neighbor. I have some cooking tips for you guys. It’s better to peel cucumbers, be sure to grate radishes, and as for onions, it’s whatever you like. When my son sees onions in soups, he begins to fish them out, so I grated them too. In the end, he didn’t even feel it, he ate all the okroshka on both cheeks. Bon appetite!
