Okroshka at the dance

A recipe that will diversify the taste of your favorite okroshka. One of the popular culinary recipes for okroshka is okroshka with the fermented milk drink tane. This okroshka turns out to be a little sour than the kvass we are used to, but it has a refreshing effect on hot and sultry summer days.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Okroshka with kvass is known to everyone, but do you know how to cook okroshka with tan? I'll tell you now! For such okroshka we will need the products from the list. Boil the potatoes in their skins, washing them in advance and throwing them into a pan of boiling salted water. Cook for 30 minutes until tender, remove from the water and let cool. Boil the eggs hard for 10 minutes and cool in cold water.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Place the chicken breast in boiling salted water, bring to a boil, skim off the foam and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes until tender. Remove it from the broth, let it cool and cut into small cubes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Wash the cucumbers, trim the ends and cut into small cubes. If they are bitter, then you need to cut off the skin, but it is better to take cucumbers without bitterness. We do the same with radishes - wash them and chop them finely.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Peel the jacket potatoes and cut them into cubes. We clean the eggs, separate the whites from the yolks. Cut the whites into small cubes and grind the yolks with mustard. Wash the green onions and dill, chop and grind with a little salt. Combine all the components of okroshka (potatoes, eggs, cucumbers, radishes, chicken meat, herbs) in a deep saucepan of a suitable size and mix thoroughly, adding salt to taste.

Pour the okroshka with tan and mix well again. Pour okroshka into plates and serve with sour cream.

I saw a recipe for okroshka on tan in my feed and couldn’t pass it up. Okroshka, for me, is the most summer first dish. Instead of chicken meat, I took ham sausage and did not add dill and mustard. Although I really like mustard in okroshka, I didn’t have any at home. I chopped everything finely and mixed it. Since I wasn’t sure that we would eat it in one go, I didn’t pour it with tan. And she put the okroshka on a plate and then poured the required amount of tan into the plate. Sometimes I use ayran instead of tana, which is also delicious. The whole family appreciates the okroshka! I recommend!
