Oatmeal Pie

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Dough. To prepare the pie dough we will need: wheat flour, oatmeal, butter, brown sugar (can be replaced with regular sugar), cinnamon and salt. You will learn all the intricacies of making shortcrust pastry from the article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 2
Cut the cold butter into cubes.
STEP 3
Place wheat and oat flour, pieces of butter, cane sugar, cinnamon and salt into the bowl of a blender or food processor with a knife attachment. Beat everything into fine crumbs. STEP 4
Pour the resulting crumbs into a bowl and place in the refrigerator.
STEP 5
Filling. To prepare the pie filling we will need: cherry plum and brown sugar.
STEP 6
Wash the cherry plum and dry it. It is better to choose dense, but not green fruits, so that during baking they retain their shape and do not spread. The same applies to plums, if you decide to replace cherry plums with them.
STEP 7
Cut the cherry plum in half and remove the seeds. Cut each half into two more pieces.
STEP 8
Place all the shortbread crumbs in a parchment-lined baking dish (I have a square 25×25 cm, but you can take a larger one) and smooth it out.
STEP 9
Place cherry plum quarters on top. Sprinkle it evenly with 1 tbsp. l. cane sugar.
STEP 10

STEP 11
Remove the finished pie from the mold, cool and cut into portions. Bon appetit!
