    Pre-soak the mushrooms in cold water. Then they need to be sorted out of debris and washed under running water. Chop the mushrooms as desired. You can first boil them in salted water for 10-15 minutes. Heat the vegetable oil in a prepared frying pan, add the mushrooms and fry them for 15-20 minutes, stirring constantly over medium heat.

    Peel the onions and cut into half rings. Add the onions to the mushrooms, add a little salt and pepper, and stir. Cover the pan with mushrooms with a lid and simmer them for about 20-40 minutes. Focus on the features of your stove.

    Stir the mushrooms constantly so that they do not burn, but also do not lose their shape. When the mushrooms are almost ready, you can start preparing the sauce.

    In a saucepan or frying pan with a thick bottom, melt the butter, add the flour sifted through a sieve and fry until light creamy. Pour in water (preferably boiled), mix well so that there are no lumps.

    Pour the resulting liquid into the mushrooms, add sour cream and mix everything thoroughly. Taste for salt and pepper and add spices if necessary. Simmer the mixture over low heat for 2-3 minutes. For a thicker sauce, simmer for at least 10 minutes. Again, rely on your stove.

I wanted to cook mushrooms in sour cream sauce in a frying pan, they look so delicious in the photo. True, boletus is not found in our area. It’s good that the recipe involves using any mushrooms) I had a kilogram of champignons, which I prepared. I wiped the mushrooms with a damp towel so that they did not absorb unnecessary moisture. I cut it into slices and put it in the frying pan. Then I cut three large onions into half rings and fried everything together until cooked. For seasonings I used a mixture of aromatic herbs and black pepper. While preparing the sauce, I decided to add sour cream directly to it, and not separately in the pan. At the same time, I stirred the mass with a whisk all the time. For the sake of experiment, I replaced some of the sour cream with 10% cream. I kept the mushrooms and sauce in the pan for a couple of minutes, stirring all the time. The sauce thickened quickly. As it cooled, it became even thicker, just the way I like it) The dish turned out to be a success. Very creamy taste, delicate consistency and pleasant sourness. Mushrooms with sauce were served with boiled potatoes, this is an excellent combination. Thanks for the recipe, I will cook these mushrooms again.
