Mimosa in lavash roll

Snack roll made from lavash and canned saury. Mimosa salad is one of the salads that was prepared back in the Soviet years. But until now it has not lost its relevance, because it can be easily prepared from available products, which makes it quite budget-friendly. One of the serving methods I suggest is a snack roll using pita bread.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Prepare the indicated ingredients for preparing a snack roll with pita bread and the main components of the Mimosa salad. It is better to take pita bread consisting of three sheets; if this is not the case, then cut the existing layer into three equal parts. Hard cheese. Mayonnaise can be supplemented with creamy processed cheese. Greens to taste - I take dill and parsley. The eggs are average. Canned fish from saury (you can use pink salmon, mackerel).

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Boil chicken eggs until tender, drain the hot water, add cold water and cool. Peel the cooled eggs and grate them on a coarse grater. Cover the table with film or foil, lay out the first sheet of pita bread. Grease it with mayonnaise and evenly distribute the grated eggs over it. Then you can: either roll each layer into a roll, and then add it to the next sheet with the filling, or immediately lay out the next sheet of pita bread and apply the filling.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Carefully open the jar of canned saury, place the fish in a bowl and mash with a fork. Lay out the next sheet of pita bread, grease it with mayonnaise and spread the mashed saury evenly.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Wash fresh greens, dry, cut and sprinkle on top of the fish.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Lay out the next sheet of lavash, grease it with mayonnaise and spread grated cheese over it.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

You can also sprinkle with fresh herbs here. Then roll all the layers into a roll, wrap in cling film or foil and put in the refrigerator for at least half an hour. Cut the finished lavash roll with canned saury and serve as a cold appetizer.
