STEP 1

How to make meatballs with vegetables in a frying pan? First of all, prepare all the necessary products. In the recipe I used assorted frozen vegetables, but you can prepare the dish with fresh vegetables, collected from the garden or purchased at the store. Minced meat can be chicken, meat or a mixture of several types of meat. Tomato sauce can be replaced with tomato juice or ketchup.
STEP 2

Peel and rinse the onion. Chop half the onion as finely as possible and add it to the mince. Add salt to taste, add your favorite dry spices and mix everything thoroughly. Leave the minced meat to sit for about 10-15 minutes.
STEP 3

Form the minced meat into small meat balls.
STEP 4

Heat 2 tbsp in a frying pan. vegetable oil. Send the meatballs to fry. Cook until a delicious crust appears on the balls.
STEP 5

Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan. Chop the other half of the onion and lightly fry. Add the remaining vegetables to the onions. Stirring, cook for about 5-10 minutes.
STEP 6

Pour tomato sauce and half a glass of boiling water into the vegetables, add salt to taste and mix everything. Add the meat balls to the vegetables. Stir gently until the meatballs are submerged in the flavorful sauce. Cover the pan with a lid and reduce the heat on the stove to just below medium. Leave the meatballs with vegetables to simmer until all components are fully cooked. It took me about 20-25 minutes (depending on the size of the vegetables and meatballs).
STEP 7

Sprinkle the finished dish with finely chopped herbs. It could be dill, parsley or green onions. Pepper as desired.
STEP 8

Serve hot as a separate dish or in addition to boiled cereals, crushed potatoes or pasta.
