STEP 1
How to bake meatballs with potatoes in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. The minced meat can be any kind, I have mixed, beef and pork. White bread can be taken dry.
STEP 2
Break the stale bread and add water. Leave for 10 minutes.
STEP 3
Wash the potatoes well, peel and cut as desired. I chose to cut into circles, you can cut into regular slices. Don't make them too thick, they may not bake through.
STEP 4
Boil water in a saucepan. Place the chopped potatoes in a saucepan, add salt and boil for 10 minutes. This way the potatoes will bake faster in the oven. After 10 minutes, drain the potatoes in a colander.
STEP 5
Chop the onion in any way - I grated it on a fine grater, you can just chop it or use kitchen appliances.
STEP 6
Add grated onion, salt and pepper to the minced meat. Remove the crusts from the bread, lightly squeeze out the pulp and place in the minced meat.
STEP 7
Knead the meat well until the products are completely mixed. Turn on the oven at 180 degrees.
STEP 8
Take a baking dish. Using your hands, form the meatballs into rounds and place them evenly in the pan. Leave space between the cutlets for potatoes.
STEP 9
Prepare the filling. To do this, mix sour cream with tomato sauce, add half a glass of water. Add salt to taste. You can add your favorite spices.
STEP 10
Place the potato wedges nicely between the meatballs.
STEP 11
Pour the sauce over the meatballs and potatoes.
STEP 12
Bake the meatballs with potatoes in sour cream sauce in the oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes until golden brown. The exact time depends on the features of your oven. Bon appetit!
